Families

I teach 3-6 once a month during their specials.

Students are invited based on student request, teacher referral/observation, and/or parent request 

I meet with small groups once per 6 day rotation during their Spartan Time to discuss topics such as: Social Skills, Coping Strategies, Self-Esteem, etc.

Students can check in with me on a regular basis due to teacher/counselor/parent or student request.  Parents will be notified if their child is checking in on a regular basis. 

Topics of concern can be home or school concerns that are impacting the student’s ability to be successful in school. 

**School Counseling is meant to be short term and goal focused.  Anything additional to that would be more beneficial coming from an outside counseling source.

Students may come to see the counselor by: 

1. Parent Rerall (a parent has reached out to me via phone call, email or in person) 

2. Teacher Referral 

3. Self-Referral (the student has come to see me on their own)
